I have a family member who is 4 months pregnant and smokes marijuana, drinks, and smokes. She is also high risk due to diabetes. She sometimes does not take her meds for diabetes and goes to the doctor. What can happen to the baby and her? If the baby is born with alcohol or marijuana in its system will it be taken from her? Also is there something she can take to help stop smoking and/or drinking?

my sister is 53. she is an alcoholic. she has not been drinking this past week because she can not keep anything down. not even water. she is so weak she can only stand for a short while. she is still using the restroom but has not taken a bath for a week. last week I gave her a bath with assistance. this week she is to afraid to get in the tub because she does not think she'll get out. I am taking ensure and baby food over tonight to try and get something in her stomach. she lost her job last August (she worked at Cryovac for 30 years) she doesn't have insurance or I would have brought her to the ER. Hi, I need to attend an intensive outpatient substance abuse program and found that my insurance covered treatment at the Mercy Medical Center on 10th Street SE. I read that treatment is aslo offered at Sedlacek. Is that the same thing or are they two different places? Also, how often a week are classes, what times do they run and for how many weeks are the classes. If there is somewhere online I can go to in order to save the trouble please refer me there too.
